MedVyas ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Vyas Systems, based in Hyderabad, India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when clinics and patients use our platform.

• Clinic information: Clinic name, address, contact details, and staff information provided during onboarding.
• Patient communication data: Messages sent via WhatsApp to a clinic using MedVyas, including message content, timestamps, and phone numbers, used solely to provide appointment management and communication services on behalf of the clinic.
• Usage data: Basic technical information such as device type and access times, used to maintain and improve the platform.

We use collected information to:

• Enable AI-assisted classification and response to patient WhatsApp messages
• Manage appointments, reminders, and clinic communication workflows
• Provide clinics with analytics about their own patient communication patterns
• Maintain platform security and troubleshoot technical issues

We do not sell patient or clinic data to third parties. Data may be shared only with:

• The clinic that owns the patient relationship (data belongs to and is controlled by each clinic)
• Service providers essential to platform operation (such as cloud hosting and messaging infrastructure providers), under confidentiality obligations
• Authorities, where required by law

We use industry-standard measures to protect stored data, including encrypted connections and access controls. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.

Patient communication data is retained for as long as the clinic maintains an active MedVyas account, unless deletion is requested in accordance with applicable law.

Patients and clinics may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data, subject to applicable legal and record-keeping requirements for healthcare providers.
